Speaker:
Jianrong Li, D.V.M., Ph.D., Research Scientist and Assistant Professor of Virology and Environmental Microbiology, Ohio State University
Time and location:

Dr. Li's research lab focuses on both applied – interaction of foodborne viruses with fresh produce and novel vaccines against non-cultivatable foodborne viruses – and basic sciences in virology including paramyxovirus replication and gene expression. His research aims to study virus-food interactions and develop strategies to prevent or eliminate viral contamination in food in light of the difficulty of poorly or non-cultivatable viruses.
